A Headache Specialist can range from primary care doctors to neurologists. A Headache Specialist's primary focus is on headache conditions, like Chronic Migraine, and most people they see have headache.

They understand how to properly diagnose and manage your headaches. Headache Specialists will most likely have completed a headache fellowship (special training at an accredited school) or received a United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties (UCNS) certification in Headache Medicine.

Be sure to tell your doctor about how Chronic Migraine affects you and your daily life—only you know how it affects you.
